BARCELONA (Agefi-Dow Jones)–French telecommunications group Iliad has offered more than 11 billion euros to acquire the Italian operations of Britain’s Vodafone, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

To carry out the operation, Iliad obtained financing from a major European bank as well as the support of an investment fund, whose identity was not specified, according to the Financial Times article.
