2024 - Iliad: takes note of the rejection of its offer on Vodafone Italy

(CercleFinance.com) – iliad takes note of Vodafone’s rejection of its offer of 11.25 billion euros for Vodafone Italy.

‘This offer had the merits of reflecting a very high premium for Vodafone Italy; be a 100% cash offer; to benefit from strong financial support from one of the top 3 European banks for the entire amount and from a financial partner; to respond to Vodafone management’s desire for consolidation in Italy and to be in the best interests of Vodafone shareholders,’ the group said.

‘ iliad Italia will pursue its stand-alone strategy, strong on its track record: more than 8.5 million mobile subscribers in 3.5 years; a successful launch of its fixed broadband offer and more than 20% billed to subscriber revenue growth in 2021,” adds Iliad.
