There are only 10 left. This Saturday, November 26, TF1 viewers witnessed the departure of Marie-Maud from the Star Academy. During the bonus, Florent Pagny notably surprised Axel, while the Pierre/Candice duo won a painting. The two academicians illustrated on the title “You’re The One That I Want” from the legendary film, Grease. But, the 20-year-old young woman was not satisfied with her performance. “I was present, I was in the character and the choreography, I had it. But, just the voice didn’t follow and it’s bad, frustrating“she reacted the next day during the debrief, at the castle, in the company of Cécile Chaduteau and Slimane.
The singer who appeared on The Voice, who praised her telegenic side, told her that she embodied “so visually” that “as a result vocally, sometimes it doesn’t follow”. This Tuesday, November 28, even if she remains aware of the work she still has to do, Candice’s morale was not up. “I just have a drop in confidence actually, because of the prime. I sang super out of tune”she confided to the coach Marlène Schaff in the daily broadcast on TF1. “I’m disappointed in myself.”added the Riviera native from Cannes, on the verge of tears.

Marlène Schaff was able to find the words to reassure her and explain her misstep: “The songs you sang on Saturday’s prime were firsts for you. You had never sung things like that. If you were all already perfect, and placed your voices on all the styles of pieces that exist, you wouldn’t have to do here.” Candice then regretted not having “a powerful voice”. “But you have it. On the other hand, the reason why you may have had false notes during your prime is that you sang songs that require a totally different energy than what you are used to, but you sang with the same way only ballads”, the faculty member replied. Candice, who “feels bad” since the prime, meet this “Feeling like you’re worthless compared to others”. His discussion with Marlène Schaff then did him good, and gave him “want to (get) back to work”. That’s good, the evaluations arrived the next day, this Tuesday, November 28, before the next bonus scheduled for this Saturday, December 2.
