“I’m fed up!” : Michèle Bernier’s rant about diets

Guest of the Culture media program on Europe 1, Michèle Bernier confided in her new show. The opportunity for her to be questioned about her pace of life, her practice of sport, but also, her diet. And certain injunctions seem to annoy him a lot.

The injunction to thinness? Very little for her. For several years, Michèle Bernier has been one of the leading faces of French television and cinema, where she embodies many characters each year in different productions, and this, in registers ranging from drama to comedy. Back on stage with a new show, titled Long live tomorrow, the actress and daughter of Professor Choron makes a little criticism of today’s society, without however advocating “it was better before” that she rather gives herself the mission of fighting by welcoming the future with pleasure. However, there is a very popular topic currently that does not really seem to please him: thinness.

Not a big fan of sport, Michèle Bernier is even less so when it comes to diets, she who has always assumed the vagaries of her body and her weight gain. Moreover, if there is indeed an injunction of society that annoys her, it is the race for thinness and diets, of which she is visibly tired. No, but I’ve stopped with that, that’s enough… I’m fed up!she thus dropped on the waves of Europe 1, when she was the guest of Media culture, Monday, February 14. If she has also long sought to be thin, the actress, who confided that she took four trouser sizes at the time of the menopause, ended up stopping being stubborn, and accepting herself as she is.

Michèle Bernier is she in a relationship?

“I’ve spent my life wanting to be thin. Well, I never will be. Today, I just have a weight limit not to exceed because I know that beyond that, I don’t feel not well. But for the moment, everything is perfectly fine, thank you”she had confided, while she never hid her “fed up with this prefabricated image of happiness where you have to do 36 like a little girl”. “Contrary to what society tends to believe, the well-being of women does not depend on their figure. Happiness has nothing to do with what is written on the scale and it would be good if we stopped make people feel guilty about it”had launched the one who also fully assumes her celibacy.
