After making his return to the small screen, Jamel Debbouze is preparing to make his comeback on stage. The comedian announced the good news in the morning of France Inter, this Monday April 15, 2024. Indeed, Jamel Debbouze was invited to present his new sitcom Terminal, which will be released on April 22 on Canal+.

Jamel Debbouze then announced that he would return to the stage from February 2025. “I have never left the stage. I have the extraordinary luck of owning a performance hall so I can return there whenever I want. I’m going back on stage with the Jamel Comedy Club, all over France, in February.” he explained to the France Inter microphone. “I will be on stage to introduce them, to do passages and I hope, after that, to go back on stage alone,” added Jamel Debbouze.

Fans of Jamel Debbouze will therefore be delighted to learn that the comedian will be present on stage on tour throughout France from February 2025. Then Jamel Debbouze then intends to return to the stage alone, without his troupe from the Jamel Comedy Club. And that’s not all. As mentioned previously, Jamel Debbouze is also back on television. Indeed, 25 years after his series H, the actor shines in a new sitcom called Terminal.

As a reminder, Jamel Debbouze presented his new series at the beginning of April, during the Canneséries festival. The first three episodes of his series Terminal were thus presented to the public. Otherwise, you will have to wait next April 22 to discover his new series, which will be broadcast on Canal+.

A series about airline employees

Series Terminal by Jamel Debbouze will tell the adventures of the employees of a low-cost airline titled Flywingz. The company pilot is totally incompetent and is played by the famous Ramzy Bedia. Other comedians will be present in the casting in the roles of flight attendants, cabin manager and steward. Thus, we will find Camille Chamoux, Tristan Lopin and Brahim Bouhlel in the casting of this series which already promises to be hilarious.

“H, it was an extraordinary experience and it remained a memory. And at one point we said to ourselves ‘let’s do again what we love the most’, namely this type of sitcom”, explained Jamel Debbouze on the microphone of BMFTV during the Canneséries festival. For information, the series Terminal was co-written by Xavier Lacaille, Giulio Callegari and Clémence Dargent (the screenwriters of the Validé series). The Terminal series will consist of 12 episodes of around twenty minutes which were filmed in front of an audience of 150 people whose laughter we will be able to hear as is often the case in sitcoms.
