At the beginning of April, Star Academy singing teacher Adeline Toniutti released her first book, Incandescent Forever. A moving biography in which she tells her story, including the domestic violence she suffered. It is with Le Parisien that she returns to this overwhelming part of life.

It’s in TF1’s flagship show, the star Academy that we discovered this incendiary redhead as singing teacher, Adeline Toniutti. Always smiling and full of life, the singing coach actually hides a very heavy story under this shell. After revealing part of his moving and frightening story in Seven to eight in January 2023, Adeline Toniutti decided to release an autobiographical book, Incandescent forever published by Rocher, in which she recounts her life journey.

Before bursting into prominence as a coach in star Academy, the pretty redhead had to go through many trials. It all started at a very young age when she had to take care of sick grandparents: “ I had a childhood where we didn’t have a lot of money, where I became a bit of a caregiver at 10 years old, with a family member named Charcot and another with Alzheimer’s. “, she says. But unfortunately this is not the only ordeal that the young woman will have to go through.

Adeline Toniutti: a broken dream

If the singing teacher very quickly finds her way into opera, she will be the victim of an accident in 2014, shattering all of her dreams: a faulty chimney burns all of her vocal cords. If the doctors tell her that she will no longer be able to sing, putting an end to her career hopes, Adeline Toniutti also experiences a tragedy in private: the beatings of her partner. “ He was strangling me so I couldn’t scream », she says with great modesty.

Violence, rape, insults, beatings, the pretty redhead will experience it all. And if she explains that she thought several times about giving up and ending life, she finally got up again: “Human beings are made to fight, even when things are very, very bad. And it’s not because we’re going to try to commit suicide, that we’re going to fall, or that we don’t have any more money that we won’t be able to bounce back.» Today the 35-year-old singing teacher has left all that behind her, although it was difficult she still managed to find her salvation thanks to the spark of a friend.
