After revealing part of his moving and frightening story in Seven to eight in January 2023, Adeline Toniutti decided to release an autobiographical book, Incandescent forever published by Rocher, in which she recounts her life journey.
Before bursting into prominence as a coach in star Academy, the pretty redhead had to go through many trials. Adeline Toniutti: a broken dream
If the singing teacher very quickly finds her way into opera, she will be the victim of an accident in 2014, shattering all of her dreams: a faulty chimney burns all of her vocal cords. If the doctors tell her that she will no longer be able to sing, putting an end to her career hopes, Adeline Toniutti also experiences a tragedy in private: the beatings of her partner. “ He was strangling me so I couldn’t scream », she says with great modesty.
Violence, rape, insults, beatings, the pretty redhead will experience it all. And if she explains that she thought several times about giving up and ending life, she finally got up again: “Human beings are made to fight, even when things are very, very bad. And it’s not because we’re going to try to commit suicide, that we’re going to fall, or that we don’t have any more money that we won’t be able to bounce back.» Today the 35-year-old singing teacher has left all that behind her, although it was difficult she still managed to find her salvation thanks to the spark of a friend. Having filed a complaint against her ex-partner, Adeline Toniutti explains that it would not have been successful: “86% of complaints for domestic violence are not followed up» she explains before continuing: “Society has a hard time dealing with people who have no boundaries. And during this time, fear stays with us for a long time. I’m still scared as I speak to you.» It took a lot of courage for her to speak out publicly for the very first time, if she didn’t want to, it was her manager who convinced her before she remembered: “But the day it aired, I was lying on the floor in my house crying, thinking my ex was going to come and shoot me in the head. I even called the mayor of my village, afraid that he would attack my parents.»
