Just a few weeks ago, the sitcom “The Conners” celebrated its 100th episode in the USA. Now only a few episodes are scheduled to appear.

Since 2018, “The Conners,” a spin-off of the sitcom classic “Roseanne,” has been flickering across the screens. However, this will soon come to an end. “The Conners” will have a shortened seventh season, with which the sitcom will then say goodbye. Report that the industry portal “Deadline” citing insiders.

Although there will be new episodes, the seventh and final season will probably only add around six more episodes. The plan is to tell the story of the series with these few episodes.

The stars return

The sitcom’s main cast will probably also be there – including John Goodman (71), Laurie Metcalf (68), Lecy Goranson (49) and Sara Gilbert (49) as Dan, Jackie, Becky and Darlene. Roseanne Barr (71), the namesake of the original series, does not play a role in the spin-off. After a racism scandal in 2018, the series universe continued without the actress.

In the USA, the series about a working-class family recently celebrated its 100th episode. “It’s just luck, I think,” Goodman explained Industry magazine “Variety” in April “Now it’s 100 episodes all at once. I can’t believe how quickly the time has passed, but I guess it’s just because I’m getting old.”

However, according to the “Deadline” report, the series won’t get much older. Four seasons are currently available to stream on Wow in Germany.
