Implanet: improvement in gross margin in 2022











(Boursier.com) — The gross margin of the medical company Implanet increased by 33% over the 2022 financial year, from 3.72 ME to 4.96 ME The gross margin rate also increased over the period, amounting to 61.8% of turnover in 2022 against 60.6% in 2021.

The operating loss is reduced by 15% and stands at -3.97 ME compared to -4.64 ME in 2021. The net result for the 2022 financial year stands at -3.54 ME after -3.09 ME in 2021.

On March 2, 2023, Sanyou Medical exercised the 8,928,568 warrants it holds for an amount of €2.5 million, enabling it to subscribe to 7,812,497 new Implanet shares at a price of €0.32 per share. Warrants not exercised by midnight March 31, 2023 will lapse. At the end of this exercise, Sanyou Medical holds, as it had promised, 43.14% of the capital of Implanet.

Implanet believes that it is able to cover the financing needs of its planned operations until the end of the 2023 financial year.
