Implanet: Turnover up slightly in the first quarter


(CercleFinance.com) – Implanet, a manufacturer of implants intended for orthopedic surgery, reported yesterday evening a turnover up slightly by 1% for its first quarter, to €2.22 million. ‘euros.

In a press release, the medical technology company indicates that it has benefited from good commercial momentum in its domestic market, France, where activity growth reached 10%.

But in the United States, where the company initiated a reorganization of sales management following poor performance in the area, turnover nevertheless fell by 32%.

At the end of March, the cash position stood at 2.24 million euros, an amount considered sufficient to cover its financing needs for the next twelve months.

For the record, the company completed a fundraising campaign worth 5.5 million euros two months ago.

Regarding its prospects, Implanet says it wants to revitalize its presence in the United States while strengthening its market dynamics and its product offering.

Listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, the stock lost more than 6% on Wednesday following this quarterly publication.
