With the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, Google has already launched two exciting smartphones. Now it has become known that the company is planning a third mobile phone. It could be a mini model. Would that make sense after Apple pulled out of the market?

Google Pixel 7 Mini or Pixel 7a?

Google has already released two cell phones this year with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, but could perhaps do more. Interesting details were discovered in the source code of the smartphones. Accordingly, an unknown pixel cell phone appears there, which supports a display with Full HD resolution and 120 Hz. The assumption is quickly made that that it might be a Pixel 7 Mini:

the The combination of Full HD display and 120 Hz would actually be new and would not fit a Pixel 7a, which, like the Pixel 6a (test), should probably work at 60 Hz again. After all, the Pixel 7 still only supports 90 Hz. Only the Pixel 7 Pro can exploit 120 Hz and thus achieve the smoothest display. A Pixel 7 Mini with 120 Hz would be worth considering, although Google has to be very careful. Apple fell flat with the iPhone 13 mini and didn’t re-launch it again as the iPhone 14 mini.

In the video we tell you what the Pixel 7 is capable of:

Google Pixel Ultra in conversation

But not only a possible Pixel 7 Mini has appeared, Google is said to be working on a Pixel Ultra with a 1-inch camera sensor. The Pixel 7 Pro is already the best camera smartphone in the world. Google could achieve even better image quality with an even larger sensor. But both the Mini and Ultra have only appeared in the rumor mill so far. We don’t know if they are really built that way. There should be at least a Pixel Fold next year. This would mean that Google would position itself much more broadly in the smartphone market.
