“In all friendship” actor Michael Trischan: “There will probably not be a reunion with Brenner”

“In all friendship” actor Michael Trischan, 61, said goodbye to his colleagues at the Sachsenklinik in his role as Hans-Peter Brenner in May 2021. The actor himself announced his departure a year earlier – apparently to the displeasure of MDR, as the actor suspects in an interview with “TV Spielfilm”. At that time, the broadcaster still said that “a reunion is firmly planned”. “The status today: After my last day of shooting or the show, nobody spoke to me,” says Trischan in an interview.

The actor asked for his exit to be announced earlier to give him time to find a new role. However, the MDR would not have agreed to this. Trischan was also denied an appearance on the MDR talk show “Riverboat”, says the actor. “Out of concern that I would ‘bash’ against the MDR,” he suspected. “No, there probably won’t be a reunion with Brenner. After almost two years without Brenner, those responsible hope that this longing among viewers will pass.” Trischan would not look back with anger, “but with indifference towards those responsible”.

“TV Spielfilm” asked the MDR for a statement on the possible return of the character Brenner and received the following answer: “The character Hans-Peter Brenner will not be forgotten in the Sachsenklinik. In the last two years, the corona pandemic has affected the shooting conditions and organization on the set affected by ‘In All Friendship’ and making it difficult for the characters to see each other again in the Sachsenklinik.”

“Red Roses”: Telenovela takes a three-week break

“Red Roses” fans now have to say goodbye to their favorite telenovela for a long time: the series is going on summer break. As the official Instagram account states, “As you all probably already know, Red Roses will not be running for the next three weeks.” However, the viewers do not have to do without the stars of the telenovela completely during this time, as the post goes on to say: “For this reason we (social media department) took a day with our actors and videos for the next three weeks produced, so it makes sense to check out Instagram [sic].”

The fans on Instagram are not enthusiastic about the announced break – and some suspect bad things. “That’s how it started with ‘Verbotene Liebe’. First a summer break, then another six months and then it was over,” writes one person. Instead of “Red Roses”, a new format will be tried out in the first slot at 2:10 p.m.: In the health magazine “Leichter Leben”, Dr. Johannes Wimmer, 39, together with Elena Uhlig, 47, information on topics such as health, well-being, nutrition and exercise. From Monday, September 12th, new episodes of “Rote Rosen” will be broadcast at the usual time.
