In all friendship – The Nurses: Season two will only premiere in 2021

Fans of the ARD production "In all friendship – the nurses" have been waiting for a continuation of the series offshoot for over a year. The starting shot for season two should have been fired in mid-April. But this does not fall. As the first announces on its official website, the broadcast of the new episodes will be moved to 2021. The reason is the coronavirus pandemic.

"Due to the corona pandemic, many evening productions are subject to breaks, the duration and effects of which on the program planning are currently not foreseeable," it says. With the postponement of "In all friendship – the nurses" to next year you want to ensure that a "high proportion of first programs in the evening program" is guaranteed.

Fans still get their money's worth

Instead of the nurses, the ARD has launched the first spin-off of the series. Every Thursday from 6:50 p.m., new episodes of "In all friendship – the young doctors" will be shown until May 14, 2020. Afterwards, the broadcast of best-of episodes is planned during the summer break.
