Once a unit is placed on the ground, it is no longer controllable and obeys simple agro mechanics. However, a Goblin with a Blowgun very recently succeeded in doing the impossible by literally dodging a Log that was heading straight for him.
Can Clash Royale units knowingly deviate from the trajectory of an opposing spell? Impossible in theory, but in practice, some cards sometimes produce dodges incongruous in the arena. A perfect example was recently provided by the redditor Mysterious-ant-bee, who posted a video where we can see a Goblin with a blowgun dodge to the millimeter a Log that rushes at him.
In the clip, the Goblin suddenly changes course to attack an opposing Tesla tower. A rather surprising move that also deceives the opponent, certain that the Goblin will venture onto the bridge, where he will be crushed by his Log.
This is without counting on the Blowgun Goblin’s outsized attack range, as well as its aggro radius, from which it targets units to attack. Without this being a bug, the pathing du Goblin causes him to move from left to right, producing a dodge that is a miracle. Rather than using the term outplay, we will speak here of lucky interaction!
However, the action remains impressive and extremely rare, especially since it occurs in a real duel. In any case, it gives us a good lesson: it is toestimate as best you can the direction an opposing troop can take before targeting it with a spell!
