In February on Prime Video: Nicolas Duvauchelle and Christoph Waltz in series, cult sagas in spades…

January has just ended and Prime Video is already continuing with a myriad of exclusives. The Consultant, Back to the Future, BDE… New nuggets or cult sagas: February is likely to satisfy all their subscribers!

THE UNAVOIDABLE

Black Hearts, Season 1 – Friday, February 3

After Miskina, Totems and Mixte, a new French production is coming to Prime Video. As nervous as it is moving, this sensitive series recounts the perilous mission of the French Special Forces in Iraq. In order to obtain information of paramount importance, they will have to save the family of an emir of Daesh.

In the cast of Cœurs noirs, the big names in cinema rub shoulders with the rising stars of the small screen: Nicolas Duvauchelle, Nina Meurisse, Thierry Godard… but also the videographer Jérémy Nadeau.

Somebody I Used To Know – Friday, February 10

Unrelated to Gotye’s song (do you have it in your head too?), Somebody I Used To Know recounts the incredible reunion of former lovers. When a return to her hometown puts her in Sean’s path, Ally questions her beliefs. Her encounter with a young woman who strangely reminds her of what she was, a few years earlier, will not help matters…

This romantic comedy, signed Dave Franco (James’ brother), draws its strength from the melancholic nostalgia that inhabits it and from the involvement of its performers: Alison Brie (GLOW), Jay Ellis (Top Gun: Maverick), Kiersey Clemens (Dope)…

The Consultant, season 1 – Friday, February 24

Change of atmosphere with The Consultant. The consultant in question is Regus Patoff. In his perfectly ironed suit, he walks the halls of the company he is supposed to straighten out, like a ghostly figure. Obsessed with order and discipline, extreme in his methods and slightly psychopathic, he has not finished traumatizing his new colleagues.

Masterfully embodied by the brilliant Christoph Waltz, twice Oscar winner for his performances in Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained, Regus Patoff is the new avatar of your professional fears. Cunning, strange and cruel, he will stop at nothing.

HIGHLIGHTS

Back to the future, the complete – Wednesday, February 1

Name of Zeus! After Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park and The Lord of the Rings, it’s the turn of the Back to the Future saga to join the Prime Video catalog. Available from February 1, Robert Zemeckis’ trilogy (Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Forrest Gump) will take you on a journey through time.

Harlem, season 2 – Friday, February 3

In 2021, you loved the first season of Harlem. The many fans of the series will be delighted to learn that its sequel arrives (finally!) on Prime Video, from February 3!

In the heart of Harlem, the cradle of African-American culture, four friends try to find the right balance between their social, romantic and professional lives. And the least we can say is that Camille (Meagan Good), Quinn (Grace Byers), Angie (Shoniqua Shandai) and Tye (Jerry Johnson) are determined enough to achieve this!

On the program a lot of laughter and tears, but also beautiful appearances, in particular Whoopi Goldberg.

Clara Luciani: It starts like this – Wednesday, February 8

It was when she arrived alone in Paris, her huge keyboard in her arms, that Clara Luciani’s career began. This journey, atypical and strewn with pitfalls, she tells it for Prime Video in It starts like that. From her physique, which she describes as extraordinary, to her counter-current disco style, the singer talks behind the scenes of her career and her successes, from childhood to the Victoires de la Musique.

A touching and rhythmic odyssey, to discover from February 8th.

Carnival Row Season Finale – Friday, February 17

After Hunters in January, it’s Carnival Row’s turn to bow out at the end of its second season. But don’t worry: its latest episodes, still worn by Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, promise to live up to your expectations!

In a society where humans and fantastic creatures live together, the latter are subjected to violent repression. In love with each other, will detective Rycroft Philostrate and the fairy Vignette Stonemoss manage to live their love in peace?

BDE – Friday, February 24

The essential Michaël Youn (The Eleven Commandments, Fatal) gives you an appointment from February 24 to discover his new comedy, BDE.

The BDE is the student office. Every year, former members of the BDE from a business school get together to relive old memories and share good times. But the quiet stay in Savoie of these fifty-somethings who still believe they are in the know, will be upset by the unexpected arrival of a BDE of millennials.

Surrounded by his friends (Vincent Desagnat, Helena Noguerra, Tomer Sisley, Lucien Jean-Baptiste) and the essentials of the younger generation (Ryan Bensetti, Ludovik, Manon Azem, Lola Dubini), Michael Youn invites you to discover his new barred farce. Presented at the Alpe d’Huez International Comedy Film Festival, BDE arrives exclusively on Prime Video for the winter holidays, from February 24.
