In front of Linz town hall – Israel flag cut up: two perpetrators caught

The act caused consternation: On Thursday night, an Israel flag that was hoisted in front of the Old Town Hall in Linz was cut up. The suspected perpetrators were caught just one night later. They are two men.

The two men were located by the Linz police on Friday night. They are said to have destroyed the Israel flag just a few hours after it was flown at half-mast in front of the Linz town hall. It is still unclear who exactly the two alleged perpetrators are. Perpetrators will be reported “I am glad that the Linz police were able to track down the two perpetrators very quickly,” says State Police Directorate Andreas Pilsl, who announced that both will be reported to the public prosecutor’s office are displayed.
