VS’is a trendy bar that has taken over the former premises of a printing works in Gothenburg, an industrial and port city in southwestern Sweden known for its river, the Göta älv, its ferries, its granite rocks and Volvo, national pride. In front of the counter, young people with hair sometimes dyed blue or platinum blond wait to order pizzas and beers. In the aisles of the café-boutique, sunglasses, sports shoes and T-shirts are sold, all products produced in an eco-responsible manner. Concerts, screenings and readings are also organized throughout the year.
The former printing works with an area of 500 square meters has remained in its own juice: polished concrete on the floor and heavy columns…
