The fourth women’s shelter in the state opened in the Tyrolean lowlands on Thursday. The facility offers space for five women and five children. The black-red state government provides around 270,000 euros annually for the operation.

After looking for a suitable property for around a year and carrying out the necessary structural work over the past six months, the Unterland women’s shelter opened its doors on Thursday.
