AT At first glance, it’s a sadly banal story, a mixture of clientelism and guilty candor towards the Islamists. A mayor sells land to an association close to the Muslim Brotherhood, so that it can build a private college there, just opposite the mosque.

The city council goes so far as to modify the local urban plan, especially for the association, on June 27, 2022, in order to make the land in question constructible. The weekly Charlie Hebdo reveals the pot of roses in an article published on July 21, 2022. The city is called Valence, in the Drôme, and the association, Valeurs etsuccess.

Faced with the protests, on October 3, 2022, in a pitiful reverse, the municipal council took a new deliberation, canceling that of June 27. But this is not enough…
