In which box should I declare AAH?

Should the allowance for disabled adults (AAH) be declared? No! This is part of family or social benefits that do not need to be declared for tax purposes. No need, therefore, to look for the dedicated box, like this MoneyVox reader.

Question from Me, April 22, 2024:

Hello, in which box should I declare the AAH?

Hello Me and thank you for your question. Rest assured, if you are desperately looking for the AAH box in your income tax return, she does not exist! And for good reason: the allowance for adults with disabilities (AAH) is one of the benefits and assistance of a family or social nature which are not declared as recalled by the General Directorate of Public Finances on impots.gouv.fr.

In the practical brochure for the 2024 declaration of 2023 income, the DGFiP cites the allowance for disabled adults (AAH), the resource supplement and the increase for independent living among the various allowances and ancillary remuneration that you must NOT report to the lines going from 1AJ 1DJ.

In the same family of allowances not to be declared are housing aid (APL, ALS, ALF), family allowances, education allowance for disabled children (AEEH), family support (ASF), back to school, flat-rate allowance paid in the event of the death of a child, the daily parental presence allowance (AJPP), the young child care benefit (PAJE), etc.

Do not declare the RSA or activity bonus either. In short, to simplify: the allowances paid by the CAF have not been declared.
