Trail running is booming. Nassfeld (K), where Austria’s southernmost trail event takes place on September 24th and 25th, offers ideal terrain. The “Krone” is giving away a start ticket for the Nassfeld Mountain Skytrail including an overnight stay in a double room in the wonderful Hotel Gartnerkofel **** (3 nights).
Surrounded by spectacular and distinctive mountain peaks, international Skytrail runners and hobby runners compete for the second time at Austria’s southernmost skyrunning & trail running event in the Carinthian holiday destination Nassfeld-Pressegger See.
Whether it’s the Easytrail with 8.6 km / 580 hm or the Nassfeld Pramollo Sky Ultra with 56.5 km / 4650 hm, there is something for every runner. The trails are just as varied as the participants and lead partly via smugglers’ trails but also old military trails and new hike trails even as far as neighboring Italy.
