European stock markets opened higher on Tuesday, maintaining the same optimistic momentum as the day before, driven by statements from central bankers which reinforce investors’ hopes of seeing interest rates fall soon.
The Paris Stock Exchange increased by 0.50% to 8,036.75 points, around 9:00 a.m. (07:00 GMT). Frankfurt took 0.38%, Milan 0.63% and London, back from its three-day weekend, 0.92% in the first exchanges.
