“Incredible”, “terrifying”, “the best thing that has happened to Netflix”: the triumphant return of the most creepy series on the platform after 4 years of absence

After 4 years of waiting, the series Black Mirror is back on Netflix with a sixth season. And subscribers were won over by these new episodes.

Expected for four years, the sequel to Black Mirror is finally available on Netflix. Charlie Brooker’s anthology series is back with an “unpredictable, unclassifiable and unexpected” sixth season of five episodes, titled “Joan Is Horrible”, “Loch Henry”, “My Heart For Life”, “Mazey Day” and “Demon 79”.

Praised by critics and the public, the award-winning series immerses the public in dystopian universes and portrays in a dark and cynical way the technological advances and the drifts which result from the use of humans.

Black Mirror season 6 is a triumphant return

For this new season, its creator has taken an astonishing turn by writing episodes closer to our reality or more fantastic or by returning to the past, a way to refresh a series already well established in the collective imagination and to bring new avenues of reflection on our future.

And the strategy has paid off since the streaming giant’s subscribers are won over by the new available episodes of Black Mirror. Some are even totally freaked out by the storylines of the new season of Charlie Brooker’s series, as evidenced by the tweets below.

For this new season, Black Mirror is betting on safe bets and new talents. Thus, the first episode counts on Salma Hayek, Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek), Michael Cera, Ben Barnes (Shadow & Bone), Himesh Patel (Don’t Look Up) and Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2).

The second episode is carried by Sam Blenkin (The Witcher: Blood Origin), Myha’la Herrold (Industry), Daniel Portman (Game of Thrones), John Hannah (Transplant) and Monica Dolan (The Dig), while the episode 3 is interpreted by Aaron Paul (who had already lent his voice to a character of the series), Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara and Rory Culkin (Scream 4).

Finally, the fourth episode includes Zazie Beetz (Joker), Clara Rugaard (I Am Mother) and Danny Ramirez (Top Gun: Maverick) and the fifth episode is carried by Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You) and Anjana Vasana (Killing Eve) .

All six seasons of Black Mirror are available on Netflix.
