The young man thus returned to the pride he had felt when Loana agreed to play the makeover game: “It was a big gamble for me to revamp Loana because she was an icon who has tumbled a little bit in recent years. I was very proud of it. (…) It was a dream to transform a star like that I had known as a child!”, he begins by declaring, before confiding in the bad buzz that followed his participation: “But as far as the fact that she clashed with the show was concerned, I didn’t experience it badly because I’ve been doing this for 20 years and I can understand that tastes and colors are not to be discussed. Now I was convinced, because everyone was crying on set, that something was really going to happen.”

According to Nicolas Waldorf, Loana’s transformation was a success : “And really, she was better than on the cover of Elle that she did a few years ago. She was on top but I think it was a lot of changes and she wasn’t ready. She still changed his mind 5 times on set”. The hairdresser then estimates that it was Loana’s strong character that turned everything upside down : “I knew we were on a very complicated personality but I said to myself ‘too bad’. But I was disappointed! In addition she lied, she said that I had dyed her brunette and that I I had cut her hair short. I can tell you that she was very blonde and had long hair. After people who talk nonsense, you can’t force them to say smart things!” That is what is said.
