However, the actor himself seems to find this idea completely unfounded, as his almost indignant response in an interview with a reporter from the American magazine Esquire proves.

So Harrison Ford doesn’t care who wins the fight

Here the 80-year-old revealed how he usually reacts when fans ask him the tiresome question:

They always ask me, ‘If there was a fight between Han Solo and Indiana Jones, who the hell would win?’ And I say: ‘Me, asshole! I don’t want to invent crap like that. I mean, why are you asking me such nonsense?’

Sure, movie fans know him for those iconic movie roles, but Ford insists there’s still a difference between him and the movie characters. So he goes on to clarify in an interview with Esquire: “I’m not Indiana Jones. I’m Harrison Ford – Harry Ford to be exact”.

So Ford doesn’t care who wins in a fictional fight between Han Solo and Indiana Jones. And let’s be honest, it’s also highly unlikely that these characters will ever meet.

But taking the thought experiment one step further, the winner would definitely depend on the situation of the confrontation. Although Indiana Jones is actually an archaeologist, he has proven in several tricky situations that he also has some skills and dexterity in combat. Most notably, his whip has become his trademark, and he can get the upper hand in many a fight.
