According to information from Europe 1, an Italian anarchist movement held an assembly on French soil. Intelligence suspects this movement of wanting to organize a vast escape project in administrative detention centers in France and Italy.

It is a clandestine meeting which worries the French authorities. It all started from social networks and this sentence posted on the account of an Italian anarchist movement: “Destroy detention centers, debates and meals”. The meeting place: a squat located in Vitry-sur-Seine, known to be a haunt of French far-left activists. After investigations, the NoCPR movement, understood in French: “No to administrative detention centers”, was identified.

Participants being identified

According to information from Europe 1, dozens of people participate and everyone receives brochures on which we can read “the centers close with fire”. Enough to worry intelligence, especially since this Italian anarchist assembly is known across the Alps for having already organized similar clandestine meetings in cities like Bologna, Trieste and Nuoro.

Another concern is that this meeting is organized a few weeks after an attempted attack on the Vincennes administrative detention center on December 31. An attack plan foiled, 12 people were arrested. The participants of the meeting are being identified although, for the moment, no prosecution is planned.
