Two Armenian nationals charged with manslaughter after the death of a farmer and her daughter on a dam in Pamiers have been released. The prefecture has taken house arrest measures.

The tragedy marked the beginning of the mobilization of the agricultural world. At the start of the week, Alexandra, a 35-year-old farmer, and her 12-year-old daughter were killed after being hit by a vehicle on the RN20, in Pamiers, in Ariège. According to information from Europe 1, two Armenian nationals, accused of “involuntary manslaughter”, were released by the judge of freedoms and detention.

The third person involved remains in pre-trial detention

The two nationals, targeted by an OQTF, were released on the grounds of “taking into account the family situation and the interests of the children”. The police headquarters still took house arrest measures. The two individuals left the administrative detention center on their own.

The third person, present in the vehicle at the time of the incident, remains in pre-trial detention. A white march, in tribute to the farmer and her daughter, is organized this Saturday in Pamiers.
