On Saturday evening, a woman fell into a pump shaft in the exit area of a single-family home in Elsbach in the Tulln district (Lower Austria). Three fire departments rescued the injured person.
Three fire departments, the Red Cross and the police responded to the rescue. According to the report, the woman was responsive but complained of severe pain. The woman was rescued from the shaft using a ladder, pulley and spineboard. The injured person received medical care from the Red Cross and was taken to the St. Pölten University Hospital.
