Tragic accident in a catering business in the Tyrolean Unterland: A 71-year-old German fell down a staircase and suffered such serious injuries that he died in the hospital.
The devastating accident had already occurred on Friday evening, as the police announced on Monday morning. Shortly after 9 p.m., the 71-year-old German was discovered lying unconscious on the floor in the restaurant in Hopfgarten im Brixental by another guest. The guest immediately raised the alarm and provided first aid. The vacationer was finally taken to Kufstein Hospital, where he succumbed to his severe injuries that same evening. There are currently no indications of third-party debt,” the investigators concluded.
