Inkulinati and its illuminations announce their early access this winter

We propel ourselves once again during the Middle Ages, for strategic turn-based confrontations where animals can be just as formidable as the clerics and knights around. As an Inkulinati, the player will have the ability to influence the course of events by calling on the power of living ink to browse and fill the pages of a 2D book. It will therefore be important to collect new inks and adapt your bestiary according to the situation, to unearth servants as varied as man-eating snails or trumpets lodged in the foundation. Yes, it is the Middle Ages.

Be careful, however: opponents can also call on special abilities that happily break the Fourth Wall, to crush with their bare hands the troops that tickle them too closely, or lay many traps for them; you can also make the bitter experience of it in the local mode, which will complete the single-player campaign that we are told is “demanding”. Enough to try to adopt several approaches to pocket the final victory.

While we’re at it, let’s point out that a Switch version should also accompany the launches in early access, and that adaptations on other platforms “may be announced in the future“.
