Instagram fixes sound bug on Reels exported to TikTok that affected iPhone users

Instagram: the sound problem finally fixed?

Last week, many Instagram users noticed a strange bug on the iPhone side. Indeed, when the latter wanted to use the tool allowing them to create Reels, the audio of the clip disappeared instantly. To work around this sound problem, creators then had to first publish their Reel so that they could then export it to another application.

So, many then imagined that it was a will on the part of Instagram, this being in order to prevent its customers from using its own editing tool to share their videos on TikTok. However, the Meta group has since officially expressed itself on this subject and has thus confirmed that it was not an intentional change, but indeed a bug. A bug that has also been quietly fixed in an update released last week.
