Instagram trends: that's what we'll wear in autumn – according to an influencer

Fashion professional Kate Gelinksy inspires us every day with ultra-cool outfit inspos – when it comes to fashion, of course, we blindly trust the Lüneburg native! In an interview with Brigitte.de, the influencer reveals which trends from Instagram and Co. we should have on the fashion radar this autumn.

One look at Kate's Instagram account is enough to know that fashion blood flows in this woman's veins. The style of the Lüneburg native: Colorful, extravagant and eager to experiment. It is not uncommon for us to copy one or the other signature Kate look. How good that the Miss Germany candidate now exclusively reveals to us which trends are playing in the top fashion league this autumn / winter.

The wild 70s are back

After international influencers have aesthetically scoured the 90s, now it's time for the 70s.

I am really happy that some of the retro styles are coming back! The 70s are not only relevant for clothing, but also for accessories. You can't go wrong with bell-bottoms, Peter Pan collars, boots, XXL glasses and jewelry right now.

Fittingly, Kate swears by second-hand fashion treasures:

Vintage, second hand and sustainability are THE fashion themes for autumn and winter. Before I buy something new, I always check whether I can find it used somewhere. My favorite addresses: The Vintage Bar, Rebelle, Vestiare Collective or – for everyone from Hamburg – Secondella. I always find something there. I am also currently borrowing a lot of designer bags from Fobe. This saves a lot of money and is useful if you are not quite sure about a purchase decision.

Another trend that is more than convenient for Kate:

Autumn / Winter 2020 will be colorful! Yellow, deep green and orange are particularly beautiful. I love this trend! With me and my family everything is always colorful, I'm just not the 'black and white' type.

That remains:

Anyone who spontaneously falls into an acute shopping panic should be warned: Autumn does not make everything new, we can confidently carry out some trends from the previous year:

What remains are chunky boots into which we casually tuck our jeans or baggy trousers. In addition, you still do everything right with beige and brown tones.

Last but not least, Kate has an ultimate investment tip ready for us:

A bag that I can recommend to every woman is the Aigner Cybill-Bag. It is timeless, yet trendy and you will not have seen enough of it in ten years.
