Denim jackets have long been considered a safe bet when it comes to transitional jackets. This spring we’re leaving the popular piece hanging in the closet and preferring to rely on these stylish alternatives.
The hours of sunshine continue to increase, but the weather is still not entirely stable. Understandable, after all, the beginning of summer is not until June 21st. Until then, we bridge the time with stylish transition jackets that are not too thick, not too thin and still modern. Are you thinking of denim jackets or a trench coat now? Then let yourself be surprised, because this spring we fell in love with completely different models.
1. We now wear leather jackets in aviator style
After denim jackets, leather jackets are probably the most well-known and popular choice for spring. On the one hand, this is because the thick material protects against wind and cold, but does not make us sweat at higher temperatures. While rough biker cuts were still in the lead in recent years, this season it is primarily cool pilot jackets that are worn up and down by fashionistas. 2. A reunion with bomber jackets
Bomber jackets were already a big fashion theme last winter and they will stay with us in spring. Oversized and in natural tones such as olive green or beige, they now adorn the clothes rails of all influencers. 3. Transitional jacket with style: the wool blazer
Designer Anine Bing loves them, French fashionista Caroline de Maigret gives you a cool update: women over 30 have discovered wool blazers for themselves. Basically, they look like men’s jackets or blazers with an oversize cut and are characterized by a high weave density that protects against cold and wind.
