The Starlink satellite Internet offer is fluctuating to say the least. After a significant increase in the price for connection equipment (satellite antenna, router), SpaceX operated last summer a drop in its monthly subscription, from 99 to 50 €. A new offer, currently offered by the American company, provides access to the Internet by satellite at an even lower price. Indeed, until the end of July 2023, the connection kit is available at €199 instead of the €450 usually requested. The kit, which includes a satellite dish, modem, wifi router, power adapter and various cables, is also available for pre-order at Fnac and Darty.
In addition, the monthly subscription goes from 50 to 40 €, a reduction of 20%. What makes Starlink’s proposal even more attractive for people who live in one of the many geographical areas of the national territory where only very long and inefficient ADSL lines are offered to customers, or areas – admittedly sparsely populated – where the coverage network is almost non-existent.
