INTERVIEW – Laura Tenoudji’s Christmas: “I don’t understand much about my teenage son’s list! »

At a time when homes have put up their Christmas trees and the holidays are just around the corner, let’s take the time to spend a few minutes with a personality. For this end of the year, Gala.fr asked several stars to talk about Christmas. A souvenir, a gift… Let’s forget the time for an interview this year which was rich in emotions. Laura Tenoudjijournalist and columnist on the show Telematinagreed to take part in the Christmas interview with Gala.fr.

Gala.fr: Has Santa Claus ever disappointed you?
Laura Tenoudji
: No, because in general, I’m Santa Claus! (Laughs)

Gala.fr: This year, what does your Christmas list consist of?
Laura Tenoudji
: This year, I have a very strong desire to ask Santa for exceptional moments with the people I love more than material gifts.

Gala.fr: For a Christmas meal, what is the essential food?
Laura Tenoudji
: I don’t think we pay much attention to what’s on the table at the holidays. For my part, anything suits me, as long as I’m surrounded by my family and there’s a log for dessert!

Gala.fr: The kitsch Christmas sweater, are you for or against it?
Laura Tenoudji
: I am for ! I think I still have photos of myself with this kind of sweater on Instagram…

Gala.fr: What is your favorite Christmas song?
Laura Tenoudji
: I definitely want to answer “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey, which we listen to again every year, but I also listen to Tino Rossi a lot during this period.

Gala.fr: What is the Christmas memory that is anchored in you?
Laura Tenoudji
: I remember one Christmas when I was a child when I had scarlet fever. As I was contagious, I had to stay away from others, I couldn’t participate in the party, and it traumatized me!

Gala.fr: Is the Christmas tree installed on December 1st or… on the wire, just before Christmas?
Laura Tenoudji
: It’s never before out of superstition but it’s always either December 1st, 2nd or 3rd. As I generally do the Telethon every year, it’s never very far away, so I know I have to do it either before or just after.

Gala.fr: Does having children allow you to rediscover the Christmas spirit?
Laura Tenoudji
: It’s essential, whether it’s his own or else I’ll adopt one! (Laughs)

Gala.fr: Besides, what did your children ask Santa Claus for?
Laura Tenoudji
: I have a son who is a teenager so he is really in a period of very sartorial, sneaker-oriented lists, which I don’t understand much about, so I don’t know if Santa will be able to decipher! As for my daughter, she is a fan of horse riding, so anything that revolves around ponies. And as she is learning to read, she is in first grade, I am reassured because she wants books!

Gala.fr: What is the best gift we could give you?
Laura Tenoudji
: Once again, it’s moments, experiences. It could be a play, a weekend or a trip…

Gala.fr: After Christmas, it’s the transition to the new year. How do you view 2024?
Laura Tenoudji
: Good, because I am optimistic by nature!
