In the GALA interview, Victoria Swarovski reveals everything about her perfect bikini body, the ideal summer tan and her first lingerie shoot.
As the face of the fashion brand Lascana, which is best known for its swimwear, but recently also for underwear, Victoria Swarovski, 28, should know: How do you create a bikini body like hers? What are the swimsuit trends for 2022? And how do you get a perfect tan like Victoria’s without damaging your skin?

Gala: Dear Victoria, what are you doing for your perfect summer body?
Victoria Swarovski: It’s more of an all-season body. (laughs) Of course you’re thinking about summer now and panicking. Of course, I exercise every day and eat very well. Half of the work is exercise, the other half is food. But at the end of the day, you radiate how you feel.
Do you even have something like a winter tummy?
Definitely – especially at Christmas. The nice thing is that you wear thick sweaters, wide trousers, thick jackets during this time, so it’s not so noticeable. But what should I do? When my grandma bakes cookies, it’s hard for me to say, “I don’t eat them because I want a perfect body.” When I’m with my family at Christmas, I really step on the gas and then I gain weight. My body is not used to it at all, because I am very disciplined in everyday life. Well, I already have my cheat days, but they are part of it for me. Then I have to do a little more sport afterwards. But you should treat yourself and enjoy your life.
You had your first photo shoot in lingerie for Lascana. how was your feeling
Exactly, I’ve never shot in underwear before. Well, I already thought: “Now the bathrobe has to come off and everyone stands there and watches.” But the team made me feel wonderful.

What do you prefer in swimwear: bikini or swimsuit?
Actually, I was always a bikini girl, but then came Lascana. And now I love swimsuits. They are sexy and maintain the illusion of what could be underneath.
What do you think is one of the swimwear trends for 2022?
High waist swimsuits – they cut a fantastic figure. You can move freely, nothing pinches, doesn’t constrict. I like to style high waist swimsuits with a silk scarf and big earrings.
How many bikinis and swimsuits are in your closet?
Many many. My husband always says: “There’s no such thing, it’s all overflowing.” The holiday then becomes a fashion show, with a different model every day. (laughs)
You have a beautiful tan. But it is always said that the sun is very harmful to the skin. what are your tips
Everyone is asking me right now, “Have you been on vacation?” But I was only at home in Munich and we had beautiful weather. Two or three hours in the sun and the tan is there. However, one should always wear sun protection, preferably a daily moisturizer with SPF, to prevent skin aging.
High career goals for the future
You have already achieved a lot in your life. Do you have any career goals for the future?
Oh yes, quite a few. For example, I would like to play in a blockbuster, that would be really cool. So, I’m reaching far for the stars. But there is no limit for me.
You are very successful in what you do. Would you still step down if you ever fulfilled your desire to have children or would you be a working mom?
I think I will definitely be a working mom. I can’t sit still. If I stop doing what I’m doing, I’ll definitely do something else. I would never stop working completely. I always say that it is important for all women not to become dependent on men. You never know what will happen to you in life. But I think it’s generally important that you maintain your standard, even when you’re alone.
You travel a lot and practically live out of a suitcase. What do you do to feel at home when travelling?
I always have my dogs with me, they mean home to me and are like children. When they wake me up early in the morning and greet me with a wagging tail, that’s wonderful.
