JBL is taking advantage of its visit to the IFA to launch a new XXL speaker reserved for partygoers: the PartyBox Ultimate. Available now in Europe, the latter will however make you pay dearly for the desire to be the king of the evening.

Two tweeters, two medium drivers and a pair of large 23 centimeter woofers: you have just met the JBL PartyBox Ultimate. As the name suggests, this chunky RGB speaker unveiled at IFA 2023 is designed for partying without fear of running out of decibels. To do this, it develops up to 1,100 watts, while having the possibility of pairing with another PartyBox Ultimate in order to double the maximum power.

1,100 watts on the meter… but a rather un-festive price

On the connectivity side, JBL evokes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth (with support for Bluetooth LE). On the other hand, we learn that it will be necessary to connect to Wi-Fi and of course have a compatible streaming service to take advantage of the support for the Dolby Atmos standard.

For the rest, the JBL PartyBox Ultimate is able to automatically adapt its settings according to the room in which it is located, each time it is switched on. In parallel, the JBL One application allows you to control the current playback and manage the equalizer as needed. It is also through this that it is possible to adjust the RGB effects offered by the speaker.

Equipped with a carrying handle, but also wheels and a compartment dedicated to storing cables, the PartyBox Ultimate is intended to be as nomadic as possible… but it will only be installed in your home and your friends if you put the price on it: 1,500 euros.
