(Boursier.com) — Invesco is launching two ETFs aimed at sustainability-minded investors seeking exposure to euro-denominated corporate bonds, allowing them to combine their convictions with yield. Drawing on the expertise of the Invesco Quantitative Strategies (“IQS”) team, the new ETFs offer a choice of exposure across all maturities, but they can equally well focus on a short duration only, that is to say on bonds whose maturity does not exceed five years.

Paul Syms, Head of Bond ETF Product Management EMEA at Invesco, said: “Bond markets have become much more interesting this year. rate hikes and the widening of sovereign bond spreads Bond investors need to consider more factors than in recent years, especially if they have set sustainability goals in addition to their financial objectives. Our new ETFs allow investors to position their portfolio to reflect their own economic views, either by investing across the full spectrum of maturities if they believe returns are close to peaking, or by focusing on short durations if they are concerned that interest rates will rise beyond what is currently pre seen by the markets.”
