Invesco Real Estate announces the launch of the transformation project for its Capital 8 building in the heart of Paris

(Boursier.com) — Invesco Real Estate, the international real estate asset management company of Invesco Ltd., today announced the start of renovation work on Capital 8, an emblematic business center located in the heart of Paris.

Energy sobriety, new uses, with Capital 8, Invesco Real Estate signs an ambitious transformation project…

Renovate, restructure, preserve, improve?

Acquired in 2018 by Invesco Real Estate, the Capital 8 building, located near Parc Monceau, is one of its largest acquisitions in Europe. Invesco has entrusted the transformation of this building to Naud&Poux, to make it a “liveable” workplace that meets the current expectations of its occupants and the evolution of uses.

Developed over more than 45,000 m2 of floor space, the asset already benefits from 2,700 m2 of outdoor space to which 1,500 m2 of green roof will be added, making this building a veritable haven of greenery in the heart of the Monceau district.

Reinforcement plants

Designed to fully integrate the most demanding ESG criteria, the transformation of the building provides for its openness to the city and a reduction in the carbon footprint linked to its operation thanks to major technical renewals undertaken since 2020 and connection to the “Fraicheur from Paris”.

The revegetation of roofs made partly accessible will also contribute to strengthening biodiversity in the city, but also to offer exclusive exceptional places. Finally, residents will benefit from tailor-made services with in particular 1,000 m(2) of spaces dedicated to sport, well-being and culture and a hub dedicated to soft mobility. These are all criteria that will allow Capital 8 to aim for the highest standards of certifications and labels for this type of project.
