A man from Tennengau (53) fell for an internet fraudster. The man invested a total of a good 25,000 euros on an online trading platform that he became aware of in October through an advertisement. After an initial deposit of 250 euros by telephone, a stranger urged him to make further transfers and promised him high profits. When the man from Tennengau wanted to have the profit paid out, he was persuaded to transfer another 4000 euros to “taxes”. To this day the man has not received any money. The investigation is ongoing.
