Investment in vacation property: 30 days of vacation by the sea without any loss of return

My money: Mr. Palla, you are the managing director of the Habona Group, which specializes in real estate funds in the local supply sector. We are of course very interested in how it came about that you are now building holiday properties in Italy with your subsidiary Pareus?

Johannes Palla: With Habona, we have been successfully investing in local supply properties with a focus on grocery stores and daycare centers for ten years – i.e. properties that meet basic needs that cannot be digitized. With holiday properties, we cover another basic need. The increased demand for vacation properties during the pandemic confirms our concept. We come at the right time with the opening in summer 2021.

The dream of a house by the sea

What is special about the Pareus concept?

Palla: The investment concept offers investors an attractive mix of guaranteed rental returns, vacation included and potential for appreciation. It is rounded off by the Pareus full-service concept – we take care of everything, from rental and administration to maintenance! Our buyers benefit in three ways with the unique concept and relax and enjoy their dream of a house by the sea. Just arrive and go on vacation.

That sounds very tempting. Can you tell us something else about Caorle?

Palla: Caorle is a special place that, as an Italian, I have known since my childhood and now also live there with my family. The fishing village on the northern Adriatic has retained its traditional charm, is easy to reach by car and scores with a good infrastructure.

The place is also affectionately called “Little Venice” – because the waterways, the typically colorful fishermen’s houses and narrow alleys are reminiscent of the world cultural heritage of Venice, which is only 50 kilometers away. The Pareus Resort is being built on one of the last buildable plots with direct access to the beach. The culinary arts are also very important here: freshly caught delicacies beckon at the fish market.

Thank you for the interview.
