The world needs fresh superheroes! The animation series "Invincible" with stars like Mark Hamill and Seth Rogen will start at the end of March.

The start date for a new superhero animation series is set. As Amazon announced, "Invincible" will be on Prime Video from March 26th. Initially, the first three episodes should be available, the other episodes are then always on Fridays. The grand finale of the season takes place on April 30th.

Numerous stars can be heard in the roles of the individual series characters. Also included are "Star Wars" legend Mark Hamill (69), Canadian actor Seth Rogen (38, "Bed Neighbors"), Sandra Oh (49, "Killing Eve"), J.K. Simmons (66, "Spider-Man"), Steven Yeun (37, "The Walking Dead") and Gillian Jacobs (38, "Community").

Between zombies and superheroes

Behind the animation series, which is intended for adults, is a well-known creative head: Robert Kirkman (42), the creator of the comic and series hit "The Walking Dead", which is all about a zombie apocalypse. "Invincible" is based on a comic strip by Kirkman, Cory Walker (41) and Ryan Ottley (46).

"Invincible" is about seventeen year old Mark Grayson (Yeun), who is actually like any other teenager. However, his father is Omni-Man (Simmons), the most powerful superhero on the planet. Mark discovers his own powers and finds that Omni-Man's legacy is not as heroic as previously thought. Interested parties can have a look at a two-minute clip on YouTube.
