iOS 16.0.3: The new iOS update fixes these annoying bugs

Apple has distributed the update to iOS 16 to many devices in the past few weeks and has received mostly positive feedback. However, there are some bugs and errors, especially with the iPhone 14. These are openly communicated by Apple in the patch notes for the update to iOS 16.0.3 and should now be a thing of the past.

Which bugs were fixed?

After installing iOS 16, notifications were sometimes no longer displayed on the lock screen for some apps and also for calls. As a result, users did not see many messages and push notifications directly, which of course led to negative feedback. This problem should finally be gone with the mini-update.

In addition, an error has been fixed which significantly slowed down the start of the camera app. Sometimes it took several seconds to start up, which of course caused displeasure among customers. Switching between individual camera modes also took far too long. According to the changelog, this bug has finally been fixed.

The Mail app has also caused several complaints in recent weeks. In some cases, incorrectly formatted emails are said to have caused Apple’s Mail app to crash, meaning that they could only be opened on other devices. Along with this bug fix, a security gap is said to have been closed, which enabled a denial-of-service attack (DDOS) via mail.
