In just a few days, Apple will lift the veil on the future of its ecosystem. While fans of the apple brand are waiting impatiently to discover the new products that will invade our iPhoneour iPad and our MacBookit could well be that a long-awaited feature is finally making its way to iOS.

From year to year, the improvements made by iOS are generally rather minor. However, it may well be that iOS 16 is finally an opportunity for Apple to meet certain expectations of its customers.

iOS 16: major changes to the program?

One week before the WWDC 2022 (Worldwide Developers Conference), rumors are rife around the Cupertino company and the announcements that it could well have in store for us. And among these rumors, several of them obviously concern the famous Apple smartphones.

According to Mark Gurman of Bloombergwhose remarks are reported by the site XDA Developers, iOS 16 could well welcome some important new features, starting with a feature that users have been asking for for many years: the arrival of an “Always-On” mode on our iPhone screens. This feature, already known to many on Android devices, allows you to keep your screen on all the time. Note that this feature would be exclusively reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro.

In addition, Mark Gurman also informs us of the support for lock screen widgets coming to iOS 16, offering then a brand new wallpaper format. Thus, your iPhone would allow you greater flexibility when it comes to personalization.

If all this obviously remains to be confirmed, it may well be that these features will soon become a reality. See you on June 6, during the keynote which will take place during WWDC, to discover the surprises that Apple will have in store for us on this occasion.
