iOS 16 will integrate a unit conversion tool

It’s been almost two weeks since WWDC ended and the future version of Apple’s operating system was presented to us. However, everything suggests that iOS 16 is still far from having revealed all its secrets to us. In fact, the media 9to5Mac today we share the presence of a unit conversion feature.

It was Federico Viticci, on Twitter, who spotted the existence of this feature. Whether in messages, notes, calendar or emails from your iPhone, you will now be able to find a unit conversion option. Concretely, all you have to do is touch the unit of measurement in question with your fingertip to see the conversion appear in different units of measurement. This concerns both degrees and currencies, weights, volumes, distance and even time zones.

This is a feature that should prove useful for many users, and more particularly those who are used to exchanging with contacts located abroad. As a reminder, the beta version of iOS 16 will be available to the public next month. For others, you will have to wait until the start of the school year before you can get your hands on this new version of the operating system, which definitely promises to be rich in new features.
