iPhone 15 has suffered from Bluetooth connection issues since its release and there is no solution

Since the launch of the iPhone 15, users have been complaining about disruptions to their Bluetooth connections, when the smartphone even manages to connect. Apple already promised that updating to iOS 17 would fix the bug, which apparently didn’t happen. Currently, only replacing the smartphone can get rid of the problem.

The launch of the iPhone 15 was notoriously free of major bugs, which is not easy for a device of this caliber. Despite everything, this does not mean that the smartphone is free from technical problems. Since its release, many users have encountered problems with their Bluetooth connection. Several months later, no solution is yet available.

On the MacRumors forums, one of them sums up the situation well: “Since iOS 17, I am regularly disconnected from my car during Bluetooth calls. I make a hands-free call in my car and after a few seconds the Bluetooth disconnects and I have to manually switch to my iPhone speaker. […] My iPhone 12 does not have this problem with my car”, he specifies.

The iPhone 15 has big problems with its Bluetooth and there is nothing to do

While most of the testimonials concern Bluetooth devices outside the Apple ecosystem, some users also encounter problems with their Airpods. The observation is systematically the same: the iPhone 15 manages to connect normally, but loses pairing a few minutes later for no apparent reason.

The bad news is that it appears that no viable solution exists at the moment. Apple has already mentioned that iOS 17 would fix this bug, but now that the update is available, it is clear that this was not the case. Some users even claim that they had to have their iPhone replaced to finally get rid of the problem. Neither a boot nor a factory reset was enough to correct the bug.

We therefore hope that this is not a hardware problem and that Apple will finally eradicate the problem in a future update.
