The iPhone 15 Pro has completed its first benchmark tests via Geekbench. No matter what Apple says – here we get a realistic impression of what the new generation has in store.

- You can pre-order the new iPhones from Friday, September 15th. The new products will be available in regular stores from September 22nd.
- The first results of the Geekbench benchmark test reveal how well the new A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) performs compared to the A16 SoC.
Apple promises 10 percent faster CPU performance and 20 percent faster GPU performance compared to the A16 SoC for the new A17 Pro chipset. It is only used in the two top models, namely the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and is manufactured using the 3-nanometer process for the first time. But is the Cupertino manufacturer right with its predicted increase in performance?
The website MySmartPrice has already discovered the new iPhone in the databases of the benchmark program Geekbench. The iPhone 15 Pro appears here under the name iPhone 16.1. The result corresponds to Apple’s information. The new smartphone completed the single-core test with 2,908 points and the multi-core test scored 7,238 points.
For comparison: The iPhone 14 Pro with A16 chipset achieved 2,642 and 6,739 points on Geekbench. Apple’s information is largely correct.
In addition, the benchmark tool attests that the iPhone 15 Pro has eight gigabytes of RAM – which was previously leaked and represents a jump of two gigabytes compared to the iPhone 14 Pro from the previous year.
The new iPhone 15 generation is said to have improved significantly, especially in terms of gaming performance; we are talking about a gaming experience at console level.
