With a charger with a power of 35W, the iPhone 14 Pro recharges to 100% in two hours, at a peak power of 27 W. We are therefore very far from Xiaomi, which announced a smartphone that recharges in 5 minutes to 300 W at the beginning of the year, for example.
Some iPhone 15s will get more charging power than the previous generation
Apple is rumored to be increasing the charging power of some iPhone 15 models. With actual charging power at 35W, they should recharge 33% faster than their predecessors. We certainly do not reach the dizzying speeds of the champion Chinese brands in this area, but the improvement remains notable.

Moreover, it is not known whether this charging capacity will be available on all devices of the new series. Although everything indicates that the Cupertino company will finally implement a USB-C port instead of the Lightning socket, it is rumored that the Cupertino company will restrict the latter to push customers to buy MFi-certified cables if they want to enjoy optimal performance. In this ocean of uncertainty, something new seems (almost) in place: a new action button will replace the silent mode switch on the side of the iPhone.
