(AOF) – Ipsen has announced the co-optation of Pascal Touchon as an independent director on its Board of Directors as of October 4, 2023. His appointment follows the decision of Paul Sekhri to step down from his duties as administrator on the same date due to other professional commitments. Expert in biotechnology and leader of the pharmaceutical sector, Pascal Touchon is the CEO of Atara Biotherapeutics. He previously held several management positions at Novartis and Servier, and also served on the Board of Directors of various biotechs.
Following this cooptation, the Board of Directors will still consist of 14 directors, including seven women and seven men. The directors include four independent directors and two directors representing employees.
