Iran says it will respond at ‘maximum level’ if Israel acts against its interests

WASHINGTON, April 19 (Reuters) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said on Friday that Iran would respond immediately and “at the maximum level” if Israel acted against its interests.

“If Israel wants to engage in new adventurism and act against Iran’s interests, our next response will be immediate and at the maximum level,” he said in an interview with NBC News.

Hossein Amirabdollahian’s comments come after explosions rang out in the Iranian city of Isfahan on Friday, with sources suggesting an attack by Israel.
