Compassionate words for her father

Ireland Baldwin has shown compassion for her father on Instagram. In addition, she addressed lines to the “tactless journalists”.
Ireland Baldwin (25) reacted on Instagram to the tragic accident on the “Rust” film set, in which her father Alec Baldwin (63) shot camerawoman Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza (48). “My love and support goes to the family and friends of Halyna Hutchins. I send healing thoughts to Joel Souza. And I wish I could hug my father extra tight today,” wrote the daughter of Baldwin and Kim Basinger (67) on Friday in an Instagram story.
In another, she turned to the journalists who had contacted her after the accident. “You are disgusting and tactless. Whoever passed my number on: ‘Lose it and never contact me again'”, she explained and published a message in which a journalist had apparently requested an interview with her.
Alec Baldwin’s brother Stephen (55, “The Usual Suspects”) also reacted to the accident. He wrote in an Instagram post: “I ask for your prayers tonight, friends. Not much remains to be said except to pray for everyone involved after this tragic accident.”
Alec Baldwin wants to cooperate with the police
Alec Baldwin himself also suffered after the accident reported to speak. “No words can express my shock and grief in view of the tragic accident,” he said via Twitter and announced that he would cooperate with the police in the investigation into the “tragedy”.
Santa Fe County police had previously confirmed that there had been a fatal incident on the set of the film in the US state of New Mexico. Among other things, the industry portal “Deadline” has published a statement in which the responsible department confirms that Baldwin had fired a prop weapon. The 42-year-old camerawoman Halyna Hutchins was killed, the injured director Joel Souza is said to have already left a clinic.
